Delta Township Auxiliary Communications Service (DTACS)

 

  Each member must have completed the following material or be able to demonstrate having otherwise achieved the level of skill and knowledge provided in this material:

Phase One (within 3 months)

Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Basics

FEMA – IS-100, Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS)

FEMA – IS-292, Disaster Basics (or IS-2)

FEMA – IS-700, National Incident Management System (NIMS)

 Phase Two (within 9 months)

Emergency Communication Net Control Station (NCS)

Skywarn - National Weather Service Training Schedule

FEMA – IS-195, Basic Incident Command System (ICS)

FEMA – IS-120, Orientation to Community Disaster Exercises

FEMA – IS-800, National Response Plan

FEMA – IS-317, Introduction to Community Emergency Response Teams

 

The following courses are recommended:

ARRL - EC-01, Level 1 Amateur Radio Emergency Communications

ARRL - EC-02, Level 2 Amateur Radio Emergency Communications

ARRL - EC-03, Level 3 Amateur Radio Emergency Communications
